from late night whispers to happy screams

Camp is noisy; there is no doubt about that but it doesn’t start out that way. In the progression of the silence that great the first Farmhouse arrivals to the roar of a full Dining Hall, we, here at Fleur de Lis, are at a consistent chatter. Many of our wonderful international staff have arrived and lifeguard training has begun in earnest after a very chilly attempt at the pre-requisites yesterday . But even after that somewhat rough introduction, Laurel Lake has managed to win them over with its beauty and charm, even as it accepted its first round of paddle boarders.

Soon our volume level will rise as more staff arrive for specialty training and pre-camp but for now, I am going to enjoy the chatter.
